    I feel sad in this age when I took my 6 year old daughter into this store to choose her grandmother a book as a present and she was told by the man running the shop she wasn't to handle the books. I would understand if a child was being careless or mistreating the products however this was not the case as she was being supervised by myself.

    This shop says it specializes in antique books but it also has antique customer policy.

    We passed by on the way to Sydney and found great rare books that were keenly priced, and proceeded to spend several hours browsing and left with a couple of history books.

    What sort of message does this send to children? We proceeded to a major retail store and purchased a book there. I wonder if the manager understands why people may bypass his shop in the future.
